Pure and soft air enter our lungs ... sometimes; its a unconscient act that affects us and that we could learn from.
After all, life is knowledge.
Air enters new goes out ...filthy. as well, we born pure and we get unpure as time goes by. There are simply small things that we cross by every day and we just can't notice, sometimes they are pure and other don't. It was worth to spend some time choosing which simple things are around us, so we could move forward easily. So... breathe in and out as simple as it is.... if you have the time for it!

Ciao G! :D
Such a deep post!
Yes, we are born pure, as you said (although many would disagree with us); but I don't think we get unpure as time goes by...at least it does not apply to all of us, know what I mean? I believe it is possible to maintain a certain purity of the spirit even though we live in a world that can be corrupt and spiritualless. And there is where a healthy spirituality kicks in. If we nurture a healthy spirituality (believe in God, not to be blurred by Dogmae, not to judge - leave it to God, remain pure by His light, dodge the many traps that life presents to us, dodge illusions and superfluous needs etc) we can, and will, be pure.
I breathe in and out, I make time for it...and I try to live my life as softly as I can, simply by accepting life and nature how they present themselves to me...
Have a great week, my friend :D!
Cheers
