We are on the verge to say that minority have an empowered voice given by context circumstances (meaning media and social networks), we may also point out that a new kind of democracy is emerging from the social networks, and that would be the true representativeness of citizens;
E.g. if parties don't exclaim citizens requirements, they try to be heard by other means, and that can be interesting in a certain philosophic way, but could be not considering society rules, laws, constitutions. Somehow it feels like there's a chain link missing somewhere....
We have many examples that parties follow their own agenda besides citizens aspirations, and that can be extremely frustrating to the weakest link : the citizen; Having a distorted weight of its representation; So peoples opinions are diverse and divided about many subjects, and its easy to follow a trend (even if's fabricated to serve a purpose) - and this is something that is somehow dangerous;
You can have a muscled opinion that arises from "followers"; in a minute at "click" distance. And that muscled opinion evolve to a movement and gets democratically to power.... you can see where this goes...
So its democratically dangerous power given to something to someone barely randomly;

As a general overview for this summer, I would have to say: temperature.
Really we are on the verge of challenging changes, and these could be dramatic ones.
We, as human in general, suffer from the 5 stages of grief: denial, anger, bargaining, depression and acceptance ;
Somehow these, can be randomly taken; In what climate changes concern about, (as a fact) we still are in a denial process (we can see that something's wrong, but won't do nothing about it); Govs still allow pollution (CO2 emissions), Auto industry deceives govs (manipulating data), and a fuss with info and counter info ( fake news). Nevertheless when everyone thought that it would be "thing" to deal in 100 years; The problems are here now to deal with;

Earth survived to cataclysmic events and found its own pace across billions of years; We are just a side effect, a needle in haystack; At the end earth will find its own balance, with or without human beings.
There's some kind of shadow in the exterior acts that, as a both way cynicism, keep randomly appearing. These grey areas that developed countries like to ignore, are, in my opinion, just human affairs, pretending what they want, when (redundantly) in reality our own reality just don't allows us to be otherwise. From ancient times we just live by war affair; Firstly, by our own inner fight that keep clashing when facing real world. Such struggle, just end with the release of the beast: our true nature;
Are we just beasts that occasionally have some head wind blow, and try to balance the dichotomy of fire, fury and harmony?
It doesn't matter rather to live in balance if that means that we can't preserve our own kind. That simply doensn't makes sense. If we are war bodies, we are in the same way truce messengers.

Wonder if there's a mystery in life.
There are so many secrets, shadows, unknown roads;
Some riddles defy our imagination, put us even over the edge of it.
Lately seems that there's a trend to what i consider a lack of imagination hence a lack of mystery;

There's a trend for mass consumption for stupidity, and a convergence for the "equal", yes being Global is just like this; Its a "new" dictatorial paradigm, controlled by intermedia (internet + media), pushed my marketing means right into the citizens eyes.
So being original and creative means necessarily what ?- if it mostly depends on the citizens aspirations, requirements and they're all seem to want the same?
Don't have an objective answer for it, because democracy reveals during the times by so many ways....ah ah ah: Global democracy limits seem to be dictated by citizens which by the way make them arrested!

surely that europeans should be aware, and really care for their sovereignty;
for that it would be necessary a common strategy where most of the citizens identify themselves with such strategy.... but primarily it must be nurtured, matured, talk , cemented- (these to prepare and to aware).

So, information is the set of logic facts that have really ocurred within a context. Most of the times there are different pillar power that lead the info to take personal advantages.
i have 2 metaphors for these freak show...
one is sex; like (possibly) a sex addicted person , you just can't get enough of it (either imposed by the marketing means, or by exacerbated self awareness/ consciousness)

as fire works....almost everyone likes to look the sky to the color pallete;
just don't try to pick up the canes while they still launching them.
2- "leaders wanted"
There isn't really an inspiring leader, that has the rhetoric and guts to face worlds convulsions;
3-"services vs production"
lots of new generation citizens aren't prepared to engage in productive companies, the labor force is weakened in such skills, or transferred to cheap labor regions (the emerging countries usually...).
4-"lets go public"
a) Privatize as much as the markets demand, has been the destruction of powerful industries, Europe can't depend so much on faceless markets;
b) Markets want profits , efficiency and returns (as it any companies should);
c)Buy (with huge loans) in "hope" to get more efficiency and to reduce the user payed goods, i.e. cheaper labor hand, very flexible laws and rules.... ( no or small investment in R&D to do this); d)If consumption decreases, there goes the cuts in HR, layoffs, or bankruptcy; Markets are like parasites... has long there are hosts to live from..... financial products like futures are mostly intangible ... there's no future without a sustained present....
5-"tax payers vs citizens"
in order to face management errors, like huge money throw away to construction (essentially by buildings that have no return, social, cultural, commercial i.e. the so called public investment), the final invoice is addressed to citizens as taxes, hence they refrain their consumption which take us to my last point 4d)
6-"the paradise is a mirage "
corruption is the pinnacle of promiscuous relationships; Unfortunately is installed, even the so called strong democracies have it (lobbying is also on the edge of it); At first were more prone the fragile societies that accepted all kinds of kicks in order to obtain their e.g. dictator huge profits. Now its all over....industry, sports, governments, health, banking.... you name it. So, this distribution of wealth is just as wrong as unfair, but markets willingly accepted..... because they get faster to their goals.
SOLUTIONS for the 6
1-The name: EUROPE FEDERATION
2-The leader: Don't care if is #Hollande, #Merkel, #CR7 #DavidBeckam or #Berlusconi; There must be one voice inside EU (fiscal, economic, defense, health, education), a president that has the power to decide upon democratic rules approved in the parliament; NO bilateral agreements; 1 Spoken Language, don't care if is portuguese, german, english or esperanto.... (ok Mr #Junker?)
3- Educate to prosper, in the middle ages people were denied information; Now "they" spill trash info, or wrong one; Industry skills must be emphasized and payed in a fair sustained fashion.
4-No longer wild carded Market dependencies, this is a philosophic choice and political; Citizen must be the focus; "Yes, but the citizens" , instead of "Yes but the markets"; Unbalanced market the drive citizens to nowhere isn't Capitalism is an outlaw jungle,
5- Governments should be responsible for their acts in the shape of a federation or not; The supposed scrutiny done to the program should be consequent specially in what comes to expenditure, so it would have a more serious commitment of the elected MPs.
6- Values change enforcement, there must be a rigorous preventive measures to avoid corruption; i've a got a basic theory for it... "if your cat is fed, there's no need to climb the table".... Companies should have a compulsory fund (that would be financed by an existent tax .... such as profit, that by one side it would work as an insurance and/or could be used for direct (but supervised) investment in tech development, R&D and Intellectual property, or employees training; Governors shouldn't be allowed to have conflictual double interests, such as lawyers societies and MPs; Power to empowered: no such shadow organizations masonry, opus dei, Illuminati, mafia, etc should influence strategy plans of an institution/ country... could there be a defense program for that?
would these be enough? no.... but it should be a start.
please Mr/ Mrs Europe solve the case of refugees is such a shame and is a reflection of passivity due to bad leadership.

if we are just chemistry reaction, we can't blame ourselves for nothing, synapses are different from each brain. If we are a reaction of our environment, then our environment is sick; We can measure and analyse life from different angles, but that shouldn't serve us as an excuse to don't balance nor getting proper global answers that fits us all as (at least) human beings.

Mainstream wanted citizen wishes, as mundane desires, most surely lead to emptiness; no wonder there are so many shallow short thought, with no ideal to (at least) follow.
But now i'll just shut up, and go to another party, in some private paradise island, flying private jet airplane, where i'll have my DB10 Aston Martin waiting, using my "spero lucem" watch, suited in by De La Renta, and unsuited by a lot ... most probably i'll not know a single soul in the next day and be alone the rest of that day... fortunately i've made some businesses and met some presidents.... until the next party.
Which weight should be given priority to, in order to develop some more balanced strategy?
(yes... still on Europe with Greek focus matter).
I mean, by one side there are hidden agendas ( not talking about conspiracy whatsoever! , mainly greed as key motivation) institutions, bureaucracy, agreements etc, by the other (perhaps) ideals, political agendas.... in the middle citizens. If there's some sort of communication problem, its urgent to keep talking preferentially with a genuine translator, with no preconceived ideas (if its possible)
Poor you, if you are lack of ideas and ideals.... but poorer if you have put trust in bad leaders.
if everything was as simple as music..... there are persons who perhaps should be Presidents, Ministers, Kings, and unfortunately are not. Today the living King of blues left us, with the burden of so many blues lyrics that life brought to him and to many other outhere.
Culture is a value to be treasured, governments should definitely pay more attention to it.
Mental note ... to remind myself that easter, should be a time for reflection and refrain consumption voracity.... we really can't tell what is beneath our skin until we get to the next layer.... at this onion peeling like lifetime, where each layer is taken faster than the previous, there's seems to be an amorphous rules set for humans, that more than ever, doesn't seem to fit or adapt easily to person mundane needs. Being or remaining original not easy due to constant marketing bombing (almost) all over; Just get real.

I really don't have a formed opinion about Syriza (far left wing greek party); for what
i've seen in the news, i'm not very keen on someone that promises to break international
commitments.
One could question if present economy models are society/state sustainable,
or deeper, if markets should control much of societies (this is just a personal conviction) .... but...
couldn't there be some new good ideas to make persons independent of such exploiters?
My true billion dollar question would be "what would be a credible alternative, that could develop economy without jeopardizing people's wishes and requirements?" - well, this would demand at least an honest answer.
I believe that this will have repercussions on EU countries, some early followers will have their chance to call themselves to the process where some populism will prevail, nevertheless of the major buzzwords they have.
Austerity has many faces.... if by one side there are public/private overweight on spending, over credit, by the other controlling institutions, markets, banks and other .... let this happen and it was under the legal umbrella. This promiscuous relation between give and take should be balanced ....
Well mentalities have to change....current rules are not enough and sin for being arrested by old fashioned models.
I vote favourably for economic development to achieve peoples wishes (general growth, better wages, employment, education, healthcare, protection to unprotected elderly, children and disabled), but no citizen should be arrested for its supposed good demands.
Watching the overall scene and north european countries behaviour.... more then ever EU will have the Portuguese meaning of "I", the selfish optic side of the europeans.... which in fact is the opposite of what the European project should be..... as i've said before true leaders wanted.....badly!
